If you are going to church because of what you get out of it, rather than going to church to bring all of yourself as an offering to God, you are missing most of what God wants to show you. That is the sad reality for many Christians and why the Church is absent of power. We want to be entertained rather than transformed. We want to preach our issues rather than bow to His Lordship. We want convenience over conviction. None of this brings revival.
