Summer is here, and we are excited about all that God has in store for our students over the next few months! While schedules may look a little different during the summer, our goal remains the same: helping students grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and experience the love of Christ in fun and engaging ways.

This newsletter will keep you informed about upcoming events, special activities, and important dates for this Summer. From game nights and summer outings to Bible studies and more , we have planned a summer full of connection, growth, and memorable experiences.

This summer, we’re grateful to partner with Cartersville City Schools to help serve families in our community through the Summer Lunch Program.

Families are welcome to bring children ages 18 and younger to enjoy a free takeaway lunch Monday–Friday, June 1 through July 17, from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

We look forward to welcoming and serving you this summer!

Join us for an afternoon of food, fun, and fellowship! Youth students are invited to hang out for lunch and outdoor games with friends. From team challenges to lawn games and lots of laughs, it’s the perfect chance to connect, relax, and enjoy community together. Missing your friends this summer? Don’t worry! Students in 6th–12th grade are invited to join us at Chick-fil-A (115 Cherokee Place, Cartersville, GA 30121) for dinner and fellowship from 6:00–7:00 PM. Pick-up will be at Chick-fil-A at 7:00 PM. Join us for a Youth Ice Cream Social! Come hang out with friends, enjoy delicious ice cream, play games, and make sweet summer memories together. It’s the perfect night to relax, laugh, and connect with others in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. We will have an ice cream sundae bar so you can create your favorite sweet treats! Rising 6th-12th graders are invited to join us at Norman and Leigh Layton's house for a fishing day! Bring your bait, fishing pole and your patience! We ask that an adult is present with your student the whole time! Snacks will be provided while fishing! Please register as soon as you can to save your spot. What’s better than a simple game of kickball? Waterslide Kickball!!

Students in 6th–12th grade are welcome to invite their friends and join us for a friendly game of kickball with a twist! Bring towels and a change of clothes because this is a water game!

We will be at the church from 6 to 8 PM. See you there!
