Indescribable Love

The most difficult thing to do in this life is to try and describe that which is indescribable.

You might say that is obvious, but we do not always make that jump. Assumptions can block us from realizing the impossibility of our task. We say we know that God loves us, but do we really understand the fullness of that love? My answer is a joyful no! God’s love is something that we experience, feel at times, and something for which we rejoice.

But, once we begin to explore it, we find it to be truly indescribable. How can human words ever wrap around the awe and perfection of God’s love for us? There is value in digging and trying to understand it, but there is also great peace in simply accepting it for the gift that it is.
