Listen Carefully!

Imagine your closest friend or spouse needing advice or help in some way. Now imagine them always going to someone else for that help instead of you. Can you feel the rejection that would stem from that?

We are a people who follow the crowd in a great many things. We operate in a groupthink model and take the road most traveled. For most things, that may be okay.

However, God still wants to be that one voice who directs and leads in our lives. With all the voices in our world, He is still the only One who knows us best, and His intent is always the fullness of His Kingdom. My recommendation is that we make a practice of going to Him first.
