Rules for Christians on Social Media:
Be kind.
Be thoughtful and informed.
Don’t overdo it. Manage the time spent.
Don’t believe everything (or anything) you read.
Think for yourself.
Show Christ’s love wherever possible.
Pray for people that pop up.
Share outreach moments from your Church.
Fast from it from time to time.
Most importantly, DO NOT bite the bait that is dangled out there. Your opinion goes nowhere, your ideas will be ignored, and they may just want your information. Just because something looks Christian, does not mean it is legitimate. It is like taking a boat out on the ocean. It is fun and there is a lot to see, but there are also dangers, of which you need to be constantly aware.
