Wilderness Times

Those times when we feel lost, confused, or troubled can be some of the most difficult and defining moments of our lives. We often refer to them as "wilderness times". Throughout Scripture, the wilderness is often a place where God speaks most clearly. It is a place of complete dependence on Him, where we recognize our need for His presence and guidance.
In these seasons, we are often more attentive to His voice. God is neither in a hurry to bring us out of the wilderness, nor does He intend on keeping us there longer than necessary. His desire is simply that we hear Him. As we listen and respond to His voice, we discover His salvation, direction, and peace.
The encouragement for us is simple: listen well.
