The Lamb On The Throne

An old classmate of mine posted this quote recently:
“I’m fine with the Lamb on the cross. But I’m a little unsettled by the Lamb on the throne.”

We have been asking the question during Advent, what kind of King do you want? Why is it so hard to allow Him full authority over our lives? That broken and arrogant spirit is strong in us, and so often it wins the moments of our lives.

This season, I pray that we can bend our knees just a bit more and recognize the glory of our King who reigns on His throne.
