What We Want vs. What He Wants For Us

Did you know that our “wanter” is broken? In other words, we do not know how to want the best for ourselves. One of the greatest parts of our relationship with God is that He is our Creator. He has created us to thrive in certain places. However, our brokenness keeps us from discovering those places. We want the wrong things for ourselves. Even our good things can come up short of His plan. Discipleship calls us to a place of trust. In that place, we allow Him to lead us to the best version of ourselves. Our goal is to give God the glory by following His plan which in turn results in our peace and joy. It is a very good life when it is in Him.
