Man, did summer fly by in a hurry! I really can’t believe we’re already in August. We went into summer with very specific plans this year, and even though we took it down to the wire, I believe we accomplished everything we hoped to.

Our plan was to regroup and reorganize everything so we’d be ready for a great fall! With that in mind, we’ve restructured our Children’s Ministry, reset our Young Adult pathway, and added to our teaching team.

This fall is going to be a time of digging deeper and wider—and hopefully increasing our joy as we come together. We’re kicking off our “Wednesdays at Faith” with teachings from Pastor Al Cunningham, Pastor Steve Mason, and Pastor Scott. I’m excited to offer a variety of voices.

We have a new curriculum for our Children’s Ministry. We have a new Dinner Club. We have fresh topics for our small groups, and we’re launching a new sermon series that will explore how to learn from the failures of Scriptural characters.

I love that we continue to grow in every way. Please keep sharing the good news with your friends and neighbors, and let’s take a giant leap forward this fall.

As our students, teachers, and school staff members prepare to head back to school, we'd love to pray over you for the upcoming academic year! Bring your backpacks and join us during our Sunday Service at 10:30 AM. We'll also be giving out a special tag for each of you to clip onto your bag! We look forward to seeing you there!

We will celebrate all of those who give of their time to serve God through Faith Methodist Church, as well as highlight opportunities for others to serve in various ways during service. 

Our High School Girls Bible Study will continue into the school year! Rising 9th-12th grade girls are invited to join us on Wednesday Nights to dive into God's Word! Our Youth Group is collaborating with Sam Jones, Friendship Baptist, and Life Point Church for a night of worship, Scripture, and small groups. Our 6-12th graders will meet at The Old Taverna Grill across the street from Noble and Main (148 West Main Street Cartersville, GA 30120) from 5-7pm on August 10th to kick off the School Year. Wednesdays at Faith is our mid-week offering to grow in our discipleship. We offer vibrant Biblical teaching coupled with small group experiences. Our goal is that we grow in the Word of God through teaching and sharing. Everyone is welcome and each week stands on its own, so if you miss a week or two, you will not be lost. Join us for this chance to grow and deepen your faith.

All are welcome to our monthly Dinner Club to join us for great food and fellowship! This month, will be meeting  at the Cartersville Olive Garden on Thursday, August 21st from 6:30-8:30pm. Those in need may receive food once per calendar month by presenting proof of residency within Bartow County. No pre-registration is required. Simply arrive during pantry hours, and our dedicated team will guide you through the process with care and respect. Together, we strive to serve our community with dignity, compassion, and hope.
