Happy May!

Happy May!

Happy May!

People talk about how tough the Easter and Christmas seasons must be on pastors, but to be honest, May is the craziest month of the year for me. We have Celebration Sunday, Mother’s Day, Graduation Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, wrapping up Bible studies, getting kids through graduation, and then planning for summer activities. It is nuts! I did not say it was not fun, just crazy.

I am so looking forward to our Celebration Sunday. We will have some testimonies, great music, and lots of good food. We will get the chance to see our kids perform and share through the month as well. On your marks, get ready, go!

In addition to all the activities, we continue to see our congregation grow. We have had many baptisms and people joining throughout the past month. Glory to God. Let’s keep praying and sharing what God is doing as we work to transform our community.

The big ask for the month is that you will help us be ready for summer. We will have sign-ups throughout the month for the Summer Lunch program, Vacation Bible School, and other activities. Please help where you can.

I look forward to these next few weeks, as crazy as they are. Join me in all of it as we glorify our Lord and seek to grow closer to Him in our discipleship.

In Him,
Pastor Scott

Depression Support Group

Every Monday and Thursday at 6:00 PM

This support group is a welcoming and safe space for anyone who would like to attend—guests and drop-ins are always welcome. There is no cost, and it is open to the public.

While the Depression Support Group is hosted at our church, it is primarily secular in nature. This simply means the focus is on providing a supportive, encouraging environment for one another, though faith and personal beliefs are always welcome to be shared. Please note, this is not group therapy, but a place to connect, be heard, and walk alongside others.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Eddie Cabaniss at platyfurmany@gmail.com.
