Happy June!
Happy June, everyone! Summer heat has arrived, schools are out, vacations are scheduled, and the church is active. We are always excited about summer because it gives us new opportunities to invest in our community. This summer, we will be serving in the Summer Lunch Program, hosting Faith Kids Summer Adventures, harvesting our community garden, and continuing the normal work of Faith Methodist. I hope that you will all take time to volunteer for at least one thing this summer, continue to give generously, and keep growing in your discipleship! Some pastors and church leaders refer to the “summer slump” in the months of June and July. I don’t believe that Faith knows what that is, and I hope we keep it that way! I love the heart of this church, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store for us. As always, pray for your church and its leaders. Encourage one another. Serve your community. Love your neighbor. Be the presence of Christ wherever you go. In Him, Pastor Scott |
